The National Trust and Snowdonia National Park have commissioned a review of options for management of feral goat populations in northern Snowdonia. This work commenced in January 2005 and should be completed by October 2005. The work includes a survey of goat numbers, a review of management practices elsewhere in the UK and Ireland and recommendations for management of goats in Snowdonia.
